Sarah's Yoga Schedule
YIN YOGA - Tuesdays 4:30-5:45pm at Tru Yoga in the Southwedge!
This class is composed of a series of long holding postures: 2-5 minutes, encouraging release in the tendons, fascia and ligaments - with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility. A more meditative approach to yoga, this practice helps release deep held tension, emotion and resistance. It is a wonderful balance to a yang/vinyasa practice and a prenatal-friendly style of yoga. For more information on Tru Yoga, please go to their website!
YIN/RESTORATIVE YOGA, every 2nd & 4th Friday, 530-700pm @ Pilates Plus
75 minutes of literally melting into props, this class is the ultimate in yogic surrender. This class will focus on releasing deep held pain and tension through a blend of restorative, yin and Iyengar-based asanas. Props will be used to align the body properly in each pose to facilitate the deepest opening and release. This class will be limited to a small number of students so individual attention can be given. Students achieve a deeper opening of the body, mind and spirit, rejuvenating the nervous system and restoring equilibrium
* Advanced sign-up is required. Click here to enroll or call 585.586.3410. Online signup closes 12 hours before class time. Cancel reservations at least 12 hours in advance to avoid a $10 no-show fee.
